The Linn County Pioneer Association is a non-profit organization based in Brownsville. They work to preserve local pioneer history for generations to come. Their largest project is the Linn County Pioneer Picnic, which is Oregon's longest continuously running celebration. It involves a parade and a festival with games, food, activities, shopping, music, and so much fun. The LCPA also runs the Pioneer Picture Gallery in downtown Brownsville across the street from City Hall. There, you will find photos of local people and places through the ages.
