Lions meet the needs of local communities and the world. The 1.35 million members of our volunteer organization in 206 countries and geographic areas are different in many ways but share a core belief – community is what we make it.

​

Our club meets on the second Thursday of the month, 6 pm, at the Spirit of the Valley United Methodist Church in Halsey.

​

Our local club volunteers serve:

• the local library

• Sharing Hands Food Bank

• Thompsons Flouring Mill 

• Central Linn Community Foundation

• CROP Hunger Walk a 10K Walk to raise money and awareness for hunger issues around the world and in our local community

• Eyeglass assistance

• The Wesley Foundation, which serves college age/young adults, providing counseling, groceries, transportation assistance and other aid.

• Driving Services (doctor appointments and grocery shopping)

• Brownsville  Chamber of Commerce

• Annual Poinsettia Sale Fundraiser to raise money for community needs.
