The Festival of Trees is part of Brownsville's "Home for the Holidays," a two day Christmas extravaganza. The Festival of Trees begins on Friday, December 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and runs through Saturday, December 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Bid in the auctions and win one of 26 beautifully-decorated Christmas trees in businesses across town. Brownsville Easter Egg Hunt

The Brownsville American Legion is hosting this year's Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15th, at 1:00 p.m. in the Brownsville Pioneer Park. Participants should bring their own baskets and there will be prizes for all kids in the hunt, as well as similar age-groups (so the big kids don't mow down the toddlers). Linn County Pioneer Picnic is Oregon's oldest continuing celebration. The first Picnic consisted of a reunion of Oregon Trail pioneers in 1887. With the passing of time and the passing of the original pioneers, the Picnic has transformed to include other entertainment and activities. Today’s picnic focuses on family fun with games. Carriage Me Back To 1918

A somewhat historic, always enjoyable, community drama of life during a specific year in the rich past of historic Brownsville, the county and country. Dressed in period costumes, local actors take on the personalities of colorful historical characters. Visitors ride in an open, horse-drawn carriage from the Linn County Historical Museum to the beautifully preserved Moyer House, constructed in 1881, enjoying re-enactments along the way.
