Living Rock Studio is the legacy left behind by Howard B. Taylor, an artist and mason from Brownsville. The collection features incredible artwork of rock, wood, and paint, and is housed in a two-story, 800 ton rock building. Exhibits include the history of Oregon logging, hand-tooled wood carvings, 125 bird paintings, and 7 unique living rock pictures.
The studio is an amazing experience for visitors of all ages. Be sure to dress in warm layers, as the rock building can become very cold. Also, bring a flashlight to shine on the rocks to see them light up with vibrant colors!
Living Rock Studio is located just west of Brownsville, on the Halsey-Sweet Home Highway.
